Laura M. Wagner, 84, 504 E. Third Street, died at 4:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 1987, at her residence in Peru, Miami County, Indiana. She was born March 17, 1903 in Palestine, Illinois. She married Virgil H. Wagner about 1921 in Indiana. To their union they had one son, Maruice Wagner(1923-2011). Virgil died in 1945. She later married John N. Clelland about 1951. They had no children, and they later divorced.
Surviving is a son, Maruice Wagner of Overland Park, Kansas; a half-sister, C. R. Staten of Sandwich, Illinois; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Wagner was a homemaker.
Services will be 11:a.m. Tuesday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, the Rev. Dr. Sam Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 today at the funeral home.
