Lewis Warren Coleman, 77, of Martinsville, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Blue Ridge Rehab Center in Martinsville. He was born in Franklin County, April 29, 1938 to Robert Ryland Coleman and Ada Lee Arthur Coleman. Lewis was retired from Bassett Chair Company and was a Supply Minister for various churches and organizations. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Drewery Coleman; daughter, Melissa Coleman and two grandchildren, Emily and Eric Campbell.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Josephine Coleman; two daughters, Rena Keffer of Bassett and Michelle Campbell and husband, Dwayne of Ridgeway; one son, Charles “Chuck” Coleman of Wytheville; brother, Luther “Cowboy” Coleman of Martinsville; three grandchildren, Brandon and Jena Keffer and Jordan Coleman and nine great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Community Funeral Home-Ridgeway Chapel and the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the chapel.
