Marriott Rites Set
KEOSAUQUA-Services for Mrs. Julia Marriott, 88, who died Tuesday at the Jefferson County Hospital, will be held Friday at 2 p.m., at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.
The Rev. Keith Winrich will officiate and burial will be at Center Chapel Cemetery.
The daughter of Lewis and Ella Davis, she was born Aug. 1, 1885 near Keosauqua. On Jan. 14, 1903, she was married to Otto Marriott. They farmed in Van Buren County and retired to Milton in 1949. In 1969 they went to live with their daughter, Mrs. J.H. Wilson, in Fairfield. Mr. Marriott died in 1972.
A son Kenneth, three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wilson, 1100 S. Fourth, Fairfield, and Mrs. William Cloyd of Bonaparte; a son, Gale Marriott of Milton, a grandson, several step-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
