ROCK — Anthony Ray Amborn, 58, of Browning Lambert Mountain Road, Rock, WV, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Born on May 7, 1957 in Rock, he was a son of Theron and Yvonne Pigg Amborn of Michigan City, IN. He had been a lifelong resident of Rock and was a member of the Mt. Grove Baptist Church. He was a member of the Montcalm Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the Red Cross and the Civil Air Patrol. He was a member of the US Army.
Survivors include: Parents: Theron and Yvonne Pigg Amborn of Michigan City, IN. Fiancee: Vivian Thomas of Enon, OH. Brother: John Raymond Amborn and wife Kathy of Ft. Wayne, IN; 2 nephews: Spencer and Taylor Amborn.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Minister Jack Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 at the funeral home.
