Rev. Elam J. Snyder, pastor of Grace Alsace Reformed Church, married at his home on Wednesday evening Sebastian Bowers, of Wilmington, Del. and Bertha Karns, daughter of Mrs. Sarah Karns, of Siddonsburg, York County. They were unattended. They will reside in Wilmington where Mr. Bowers is employed by the du Pont Powder Manufacturing Company.

A brief sufferer from pneumonia, Sebastian Bowers, 32 years old, son of J. C. Bowers, 641 Hamilton Street, this city, died last Friday evening in the Homeopathic Hospital, Camden, N. J. Previously to being stricken with the disease Mr. Bowers was a secret service agent in the New York Shipbuilding yards in that city.
His funeral took place this afternoon, at 2 o'clock, at his father's residence. Burial was made in the East Harrisburg Cemetery. Popularly known as "Boss," to numberless friends, Mr. Bowers had served as a private in the One Hundred and Twelfth Regiment, and saw service on the Mexican Border. Upon receiving an honorable discharge from that organization, he began the secret service career that ended with his death last Friday.
Surviving the deceased are his father, two sisters and two brothers.
