ANDERSON – Wayne, 81, Hastings, passed away peacefully Oct. 8, 2011, at Altoona Hospital. Born Jan. 26, 1930, in Twin Rocks, son of Charles A. and Mabel C. (Marks) Anderson. Preceded in death by parents, three sisters and five brothers. Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Dorothy I. (Good) Anderson; and their children, Elaine Anderson-Stevick, Imperial, Pa.; Barbara, wife of Patrick Hale, Etna, Pa.; and David, married to Brenda McCully, Glen Campbell, Pa. His legacy will live on in his grandchildren, Matthew Stevick, Alyssa Stevick, Emily Hale, Brittany Anderson, Maranda Anderson, James Anderson, Edwin Anderson and Betha Grace Anderson. Brother of Elizabeth Harris, Tonawanda, N.Y.; and Glenda Strachan, Phoenix, Ariz. Retired mechanic from West Branch Materials. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria, Pastor Paul Demi, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Spangler United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 723, Northern Cambria, Pa. 15714.
