Bowry, Ann B. "Betty", 85, of Richmond, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence E. Bagent; mother, Elizabeth A. Bagent; and husband, Robert E. Bowry. She is survived by daughters, Sharon B. Shannon (Bob) and Tamera A. “Tami” Bowry; grandsons, Robert P. Shannon Jr. (Amy), Richard E. Shannon (Becca) and Tyler Andrew Bowry; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Preston Shannon; brothers, Clarence and William Bagent (Hia); and sister, Diana Wingfield (Chuck). Born in Richmond, Va., Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved reading, gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Betty will be forever missed by her family. A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery and a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
