Robert (Bob) Ohl January 13, 1926 February 5, 2016 Robert (Bob) Ohl, 90, formerly of Lilac Lane, Mill Hall, passed away February 5, 2016 at Susque View Home, Lock Haven He was born January 13, 1926, in Spring Mills, to the late Clair E. Ohl and Miriam Long, of Lock Haven. Robert was united in marriage March 11, 1976, to the late Luella L. Leeming. He was a teacher for 21 years in Manasquan, N.J. and was a World War II veteran, he served with the 28th Infantry in Europe where he fought in three of the five campaigns. Robert moved back to the Lock Haven area in 1974, and started a greenhouse. He was a member of the Beech Creek American Legion, served as a Clinton County Commissioner, and was a supervisor for Bald Eagle Township. He was also a member of the Laurel Run United Methodist Church. Robert is survived by his niece, Beverly Honshiko, of Melbourne, Fla.; a step-son, Edward Schanck III, of New Jersey; and a step-daughter, Catherine Giesbrecht, of Pocatello, Idaho. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Luella Leeming Ohl onNovember 1, 2009; his brother, Richard Ohl; and a nephew, Paul Ohl Funeral services for Robert Ohl will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the Yost Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, PA. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Roger Yoder of the Dunnstown United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, will be accepted by the Laurel Run United Methodist Church, 2899 Laurel Run Road, Beech Creek, PA 16822.
