Donald Raymond Bonneau, 85, of Angleton, went to be with our Lord with his family by his side on Thursday, February 4, 2016.
A public visitation will be held on Monday, February 8 from 5-7 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 9 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m.
Donald served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954. After his military service, Don began his 38-year career at Dow in Engineering Records Management. He was a dedicated Angleton High School sports fan receiving the Angleton Booster Club 2011 “Faithful Fan” award. He volunteered at the Purnell relays for over 40 years. Don was a member of the Brazoria County Bowlers’ Hall of Fame and a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus. He also volunteered at the Community Food Pantry and St. Thomas resale shop.
Donald was born to Paul and Inez Bonneau in Angleton, TX on January 22, 1931. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, JoAnn Bonneau and Pauline Sebesta. Donald is survived by his wife of 59 years Margaret Bonneau, son Michael Bonneau and wife Donna, their children Amber and Travis, daughter Donna Bonneau, and son William “Bill” Bonneau and wife Corinne, their children Jenna Davis and husband Brandon, Katie and Kylie. He is also survived by brothers Paul Bonneau and wife Kelly of Louisiana, Robert Bonneau and wife Joan of Houston, James Bonneau of Houston and sisters Mary Louise Garrett of Deer Park, Margie Foudray of Brazoria, Joyce Coley and husband Kenneth of Angleton and Dorothy Finley and husband Charles of Missouri City as well as numerous other family and friends.
