Dolores A. "Doshie" (Orth) Waterman Sailer, age 89, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at her home.
Doshie was born April 3, 1926 in Evansville to the late Henry and Genevieve (Frank) Orth, Sr. She worked at Faultless Caster for 33 years. Doshie was a member of VFW Post #1114 Ladies Auxiliary, the Lady Owls and the 20 Year Club at Faultless Caster. She enjoyed crafts, gardening and playing cards.
Surviving Doshie are her daughter, Diane Reese of Evansville; daughter-in-law, Barbara Waterman of Manassas, VA; a grandson, Troy Reese and one sister, Bonnie O'Neal of Lancaster, CA.
In addition to her parents, Dosh was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Herman "Pete" Sailer in 2000; by her son, Ralph W. Waterman in 2007, her granddaughter, Tammy Marie Reese and siblings: Evelyn Helfert, Juanita Richardson, Laverne Nielson, Henry Orth Jr. and Roy Orth.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Pierre Funeral Home, Deacon Tom Lehman officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
