The Late S. Cayce.
Mr. S. Cayce died last night at his residence on Lavacca street, and the funeral will take place this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. Mr. Cayce was one of San Antonio's most honored and respected citizens, and his loss from the business circles will be deeply felt by many. He was identified with many of the enterprise of the city and was an earnest and consistent member of the Baptist church, and proved by his life and his deeds the faith he felt in the cause of Christ. He was a Tennessean by birth, and was a Texas veteran in all the name implies, having served as a soldier under General Sam Houston, in the days of the Republic. He will be buried unde the auspices of the Alamo Lodge of Masons.
