Ruby Mowrer, 70, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
She was born April 29, 1936 in Portales to Ida Cleo and Alfred J. "Slick" Cothern. She had spent the majority of her life as a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, George Mowrer of Portales; two sons, Eddy and Jesse Mowrer; and three daughters, Laura Maricle, Ida Haxton, and Bonita Tompkins.
