Maggie Henry, 67, of Canyon died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church in Canyon with the Rev. Paul Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Arrangements are by Holley Funeral Home Inc. of Canyon.

Maggie was born May 25, 1945, in Shawnee, Okla., to Harry Tyson and Margaret Likens Tyson. She was a Baptist and attended Bethel Baptist Church. She was a teacher in Fort Worth and Amarillo, was active in Girl Scouts and enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; a son, Matthew Henry and wife Allison of Amarillo; a daughter, Angela Miles and husband Timothy of Converse; two brothers, H.L. Tyson and David Tyson; and three grandsons.

The family suggests memorials be to Alzheimer’s Association, 1400 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.

The family will receive guests from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
