Gladys Misenhelder, daughter of John and Nanna (Harbison) Misenhelder, was born on December 5, 1913, in Granville, Iowa. She grew up on a farm near Franklin, Minnesota, attending the Methodist Church in Franklin and graduating from Franklin High School.
On April 25, 1943, she was united in marriage to Allen Charbonneau in Benson, MN. The two initially made their home in Murdock, MN, before moving to Glenwood in 1945. She and Allen were blessed with a son, Roger and two daughters, Joann and Janice.
Gladys is survived by her son, Roger (Florence) Charbonneau of Milwaukee, WI; daughters, Joann (Raymond) Barry of Clark, SD, and Janice (Dale) Wilson of Alexandria, MN; 9 grandchildren, Donnarae (Matthew) Tulsky, Dawn, Sherri, Dan, Paul, and Kelly Charbonneau, and Dan, Jeff and Sara Wilson; 4 great-grandchildren, Michael and Tyler (Christine) Tulsky, Anne Barry and Kolby Johnson; as well as one great-great grandchild, Joselyn Rahberg.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband Allen Charbonneau; her brother, Lloyd Misenhelder; her sister, Miriam Wessel; and a grandson, Thomas Barry.
