HAZEL E. (ALBRIGHT) IVERSON
Hazel E. (Albright) Iverson, 97, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho on Sunday, Jan 14, 2001.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, 2001 in Coffelt's Moon Chapel. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. The Rev. Tony Nelson, First Christian Church, will officiate.
Hazel was born to Hewey and Iva (Russell) Howard in Mulvane, Kan. on Aug. 23, 1903 and graduated from high school in Mulvane in 1921. On April 3, 1923, she married Harold Albright in Mulvane. They moved to Walsenburg, [Huerfano County] Colo. and homesteaded a piece of property.
In 1940 the family moved to a farm on Dufort Road, near Sandpoint, where she lived until moving to Sandpoint in 1965. Harold Albright passed away in 1975. She then lived in Cheney, Wash. from 1975 until 1986, when she returned to Sandpoint.
She was a member of the first Christian Church, had belonged to various clubs, worked on election boards, during elections, and she and Harold had donated the land for the Westmond Grange from their land on the Dufort Road.
In her later years, she married Jake Iverson, who also preceded her in death.
Hazel is survived by a son, Charles. . . Albright, Cheney ; a daughter, . . . ; four grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Gladys Hoberecht, Great Bend, Kan.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, a brother and a grandson.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, 201 N. Division, Sandpoint, or a charity of choice.
