Kenneth Mack Christensen, 79, of Centerfield, passed away on February 1, 2016 at his home. He was born on July 31, 1936 in Centerfield, UT to Allen and Phyllis Simmons Christensen.

Ken married Shirley Adams on April 12, 1958 in Salt Lake City, UT. They spent 57 years together and loved their 5 children. Ken worked at the Salt Lake Tribune for 35 years. He served in the Marine Corp and loved his country. He was a very patriotic man. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, off-roading and ranching on his farm in Centerfield. Ken never met a stranger and had a gift of gab.

Ken is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Kenna (Dennis) Vallejos, Jerry Christensen, Lyle (Chris) Christensen, LeAnna Beagley, Chuck (Sandy) Christensen; siblings, Jack (Olga) Christensen, Larry (Pat) Christensen. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Axtell Ward Chapel from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. Graveside services and interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Centerfield Cemetery with military rites by the Oliver-Russell American Legion Post #105 and the Utah Honor Guard. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
