Steve Price died June 23, 2006, at his home in Thornton, Colorado.
He was born September 8, 1961, in Salida, the son of Chester and (Gladys Furphy) Price. He loved life, his friends and family. Steve loved sports, and played basketball and football in High School. He was also a golfer, and was always ready to hit the golf course when someone wanted to go. He will be sadly missed by everyone that ever knew him.
Survivors are his father and stepmother Chester and Wilma Price; mother and stepfather, Gladys and Bill Kelly; brothers, Les (Linda) Price and Lee Hudson; sisters, Debra Price, Paula (Kerry) Urbaniak; stepsisters, Charlene, Roberta, Karen and Joyce and their families; nephews, Joshua (Heather) Roberts; Tim (Lori) Price, and Justin Matherene; niece Lauren Matherne and great nieces Leah Price and Rayne Roberts; aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends he loved like family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Josephine Price and Gladys Furphy.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. June 28, 2006, at Lewis Glenn Funeral Home, Salida. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. June 29, 2006, at The First Christian Church, 306 East Fourth Street in Salida. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
