This publication also states her parents as Jackson and Malinda (Scribner) Grider. The former of Pennsylvania and the latter of Tennessee.
After the death of her husband, Meekey relocated to Niantic, where she stayed until about 1889, when she then relocated to Decatur, Illinois.
