Albert E. Cisco, age 83, of Camp Point, IL died Friday, January 29, 2016, at 10:20 pm in Timberpoint Health Care Center in Camp Point.

Albert was born December 8, 1932 in Waynesville, Illinois, the son of Alfred and Sylvia Russell Cisco. He married Doris Bain on July 9, 1958 in Springfield, Illinois. She survives.

Albert served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 -1955 as a gunner’s mate. He worked at Jaeger Beauty and Barber Supply in Quincy for 30 years where he became manager. He then worked maintenance at Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ.

Albert built the family home, and routinely planted a one acre vegetable garden every summer. He loved the outdoors including hunting and fishing.

Survivors in addition to his wife Doris include 2 children, Connie Wright of Camp Point, IL and Michael Eugene (Kelly) Cisco of Louisiana, MO; nine grandchildren, Travis Kyle Cisco, Nicholas Ryan Cisco, Leah Mae-June (Jonathan) Reagan, Mika Reanna Cisco, Angela Sue Wright, Chad Michael (Lindsay) Wright, Joshua Eugene (ReAnn) Wright, JoAnn Wright and Darell Ray Cisco; 13 great-grandchildren and his sister, Darlene Sparling of WI.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Steven Ray Cisco, and a sister, Genevieve Watson.

Private graveside services are planned at Quincy Memorial Park with Pastor Jason Moncofsky officiating.
