Seth Kunz
Seth Kunz, age 76, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 30, 2016, in an Ontario, Oregon care facility. Seth was born February 11th, 1939 to Milford and Sadie (Hill) Kunz in their family home in Ogden, Utah, the youngest of eight children.
Seth enjoyed a full life of love and laughter. An entrepreneur and cattle buyer by trade, he owned and operated several businesses throughout the years. His work always accompanied a ready smile and a witty joke. Many have said that you could not have a conversation with Seth without feeling better about yourself. He had a passion for horses and blue dogs and was most comfortable on a horse. He was a true cowboy and friend but just don’t touch his hat!
His greatest love was his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Carole Stimpson; along with four children: Sharee Walker, Meridian, Idaho, Jay and Shelaine Chamberlin, Weiser, Idaho, Sara Kunz, Ontario, Oregon, Shaun and Kara Kunz, Weiser, Idaho; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren: 3 siblings, Cleo (Kunz) Anderson, Junior and Darlene Kunz, Arnold and Karen Kunz and many other loving nieces, nephews and relatives. Seth was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings, Roy Baugh, Leora (Baugh) Checkettes, Valene (Kunz) Hales, and Verle Baugh.
Memorial services for Seth Kunz will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 300 E Main St, Weiser, Idaho. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery near Annex, Oregon.
