He was born in Garrard County, Kentucky on February 21, 1931 to Eugene and Ethel Kidwell Calico, both of whom preceded him in death.
Mr. Calico was a US Army veteran who served in the Second Infantry Division. He retired from Wayne Dairy after 40 years of service. He formerly sold real estate and enjoyed watching Jeff Gordon and NASCAR.
Mr. Calico will be missed by his wife, the former Mary Beasley, whom he married 61 years ago on July 23, 1954; daughter & son-in-law, Teresa and James Gross; grandchildren, Shanan Calico, Heather Calico, Summer Gross and Justin Calico; great-grandchildren, Jake, Abcde, Jadon and Addison; and several nieces & nephews.
Mr. Calico was preceded in death by his parents, son, Michael Calico; grandson, Eric Michael Calico; four sisters and one brother.
