RIPLEY - A. D. Hendren, 89, retired farmer, died of cancer Monday at his home. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Yarbrough Funeral Home with burial in Mary's Chapel Cemetery near Ripley. He was a deacon at Elim Baptist Church in the Orysa community. Mr. Hendren, the husband of Annie Mae Hendren, also leaves four daughters, Demetra Mills, Martha Parker, Frances Hendren and Patricia Phillips, all of Ripley; a son, Sidney Hendren of Halls; two sisters, Willie Ruth Kelly and Doris Parchman, both of Ripley, 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
