William Edward Davidson, 80, of Trumann passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at his home.

He was born June 17, 1935 in Joiner, AR to the late Gordon and Leola Garrett Davidson.

He was an auto mechanic for Coleman Taylor in Memphis, TN and Eugene Vaughn Ford in Marked Tree, AR. He was a Mason and served in the U.S. Army. He loved fishing and hunting.

Mr. Davidson is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mavis Kirk, and a son, William Davidson, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Roark Davidson; three sons, John Davidson, Jerry Lindsey and Dewayne Davidson; three daughters, Sharon Barr, Tresa Lansdell and Brittany Davidson; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; three brothers, Billy Joe Davidson, Troy Davidson and Wayne Davidson; three sisters, Betty Howard, Gladys Cortez and Polly Proffitt.

Services will be 1 pm Saturday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Rick Kimery officiating.

Visitation will begin at Noon until the time of service.

Burial will be Monday at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Birdeye at 2 pm.

John Dickson, Terry Roark, Cody Roark, Billy Davidson Jr, Jeremy Davidson and David Davidson will serve as pallbearers.

Lasting memorials can be made to Hospice Home Health of Jonesboro.
