Funeral at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Acton A. (Y.C.) Addison, 84 of Gadsden who died Saturday, June 7, 1997. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Mr. Addison was a carpenter by trade and retired from Jackson Concrete. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was the loving father of 10 children, 21 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren. He will be missed by all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mrs. Verna B. Addison; parents, Belton and Tressie Addison and brothers, F.M., M.C. and Billy Ray.
