John was a hard worker and took great pride in everything he had done. He retired from MFA Propane and began doing things that he enjoyed, like listening to music and playing his guitar. He loved mowing and mowed for many in the community. He was known as Big John to his friends and family around the Pattonsburg and Maysville, Missouri area.
He was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Judy Jane Welden.
Survivors include: two brothers and three sisters, Garland Collins, Santa Rosa, Tim (Roena) Collins, Bethany, Missouri, Barbara Jones, Blythedale, Missouri, Penny Collins, Cameron, Missouri, Wanda Fitzgerald, Excelcior Springs, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Pattonsburg.
