He served his country while enlisted in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 218 of Algiers and a member of AARP of Algiers. He was born in Algiers and resided in Terrytown.

A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
