Mrs. Eva Inez Presley, age 86, of Haynes, died Saturday, March 19, 2005, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Forrest City.Mrs. Presley was born July 7, 1918, the daughter of Herbert Emmett Parrish and Ophia Phillips Parrish. She was a seamstress and also worked at Baptist Hospital and Crestpark as a nurse's aide prior to retirement. She was the oldest living member of the Haynes Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Presley, two daughters, Norma Presley Davis and Peggy Presley Wyatt; one son, Leon Presley; two grandsons and a great-grandchild.Mrs. Presley is survived by five daughters, Margaret Louise Cashion of Hernando, Miss., Betty French of Palestine, Barbara Bittle of Forrest City, Donna Held of Haynes and Gail Oxner of Olive Branch, Miss.; three brothers, Joe Parrish and Billy Parrish, both of Oklahoma and Herbert Parrish of Georgia; two sisters, Janice Bryant of Marianna and Shirley Conner of Oklahoma; 23 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 21, at Morgan Funeral Home.Funeral services for Mrs. Presley will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the Haynes Baptist Church with Bro. Gene Craig officiating. Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
