The Rev. Robert Keller of the First United Methodist Church will officiate. Following cremation, burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The Myers Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Barnes was a native of Waterbury, Conn., and had lived in Porterville for 23 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Porterville, the American Association of Retired Persons, the Porterville Grange, the Executive Club and Friends of the Library.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Barnes of Porterville, and her sister, Ruth Cepelak of Connecticut.
