Phyllis Bradley Stroder-Bloxsom, age 81, died peacefully in her sleep on November 22, 2015, at her apartment in Tucson, Arizona.

Phyllis was born July 23, 1934, in Monte Vista, Colorado, the first of three children and only daughter of Dr. Arlie and Fannie Bradley.

Phyllis held many professional positions throughout her life, including a Practical Nurse at the Mt. Vernon Chest Hospital.

She also bred and traded horses with her husband, John Stroder, which she cherished. As the ultimate animal lover, she volunteered at the animal rescue in Monte Vista, Colorado. She enjoyed the outdoors and country life, camping, trail rides and anything that got her close to nature.

Phyllis is survived by two brothers, Jack Bradley and Bill Bradley, both of Illinois; four children, David Michael Colville of Houston, Missouri, Crystal Spratt of Humble, Texas, Shelonie Johnson of Tucson, Arizona and Kellan Arrington of Flagstaff, Arizona; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Stroder and one daughter, Reesa Stroder-Garner.

Cremation was selected and a Celebration of Life was held in Tucson, Arizona.

She will be interned at Union Cemetery in Stotts City, Missouri, with her husband, John Stroder and daughter, Reesa.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at the Senior Citizens Center in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
