HAMLIN LILLIAN BOLOIAN Alameda, July 12, 2002. Born December 22, 1909, in Fresno, CA to Setrak and Yeproxie Boloian. Preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hamlin and her brother, Sam Boloyan. Mother of Ronald and Earleen Hamlin of Alameda and Earl and Bonnie Hamlin of Oakland; grandmother of Paul and Nancy Hamalian of San Jose, Costa Rica, Adam and Melissa Hamalian of Walnut Creek and Seth Hamalian of Oakland; great-grandmother of Jacob, Elizabeth and Madeline Hamalian of Costa Rica and Catherine Hamalian of Walnut Creek. Lillian graduated from Fresno High School and the Fashion Arts Design School in San Francisco. In the early thirties she was a designer for San Francisco fashion manufacturer, G.W. Reynolds. An Alameda resident since 1931, she had a life long interest in women's fashions which she applied in giving sewing lessons at the Alameda Girls club and designing aprons and various items for charity fund raising. She was a long time active member and Elder of First Presbyterian Church of Alameda, charter member and Matron of the Daughters of Vartan, San Francisco, and member of Mu Chapter P.E.O. Services will be held at Frist Presbyterian Church, 2001 Santa Clara, Alameda (corner of Chestnut) on July 20, 2002, at 11 a.m. The family prefers, in lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances be made to the Albert and Lillian Hamlin Memorial Fund at First Presbyterian Church of Alameda.
