Floyd Arnold Warren, 91, of Sour Lake, died Monday, January 18, 2016, in his home. He was born December 9, 1924, in Sour Lake, to Elvia and William Warren.

Floyd was a World War II Silver Star Veteran and an avid woodsman. He was a loving, kind person, and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his two sisters, Willie Merle Brister and Elvia Lois Witt; one brother, Donald Warren and his wife, Dollie; nieces and nephews, Priscilla Stevenson and her husband, Derrick; Sherry Witt; Debbie Ernst and her husband, John Tom; Donna Lummus and her husband, Jason; Dennis Warren and his wife, Teri; Kenny Witt and his wife, Brenda; and L.C. Brister, Jr. and his wife, Cherry; and several great nieces and nephews and so many dear friends.

Floyd is preceded in death by his loving wife, Frances "Fran" Warren; and two brothers, Raymond and Bobby Leroy Warren.

A gathering of Mr. Warren's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Broussard's. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 22, 2016, at Broussard's, with his interment to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Kountze.
