Natalie Ann Oleson Geiger, 43, of Greene Twp., passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at UPMC Hamot following a sudden medical event. She was born, in Erie, on August 27, 1972 a daughter of Neil Oleson and the late Sally Ann Struchen Oleson.

Natalie was a 1990 graduate of Tech Memorial High School and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and her Master's degree in Learning Support from Edinboro University. She was a teacher with the Erie School District at McKinley Elementary and Joanna Connell School, where she was a cheerleading coach. She was part-owner of Geiger Electric, LLC with her husband, Charles, and was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

She was a fan of the Erie Otters and loved her summer vacations. She enjoyed reading on the beach, working out at the YMCA and Keri's Dance Studio, and especially loved teaching.

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her sister, Tricia A. McAndrew; and her mother and father in law, Leona F. and Clemens E. "Bud" Geiger.

In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Charles Geiger; her children, who were her life, Chase Edward and Ella LeAnn Geiger, both at home; one sister, Carrie Ann Haynes (Paul) of North East; one brother, Matthew E. Oleson, USAF, (April) of Biloxi, MS; her stepmother, Bonnie McAndrew Oleson; her grandparents, Bill (Lois) Struchen of Erie; two stepbrothers, James McAndrew of Erie and Ryan McAndrew of Pittsburgh; two brothers in law, Edward (Tammy) Geiger and Joseph Geiger and his significant other, Jen, all of Erie; three sisters in law, Rita Geiger, Margaret McDaniels and Anne Slupski (Mike), all of Erie; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; her special friend, Debi Johnson of Erie; and her Joanna Connell family.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to services there on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m.. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
