PAUL P. VINKLAREK

EL CAMPO - Paul P. Vinklarek of El Campo died Jan. 6, 2008 at the age of 86. He was born on Sept. 28, 1921, in Hochiem, to the late Joe and Frankeska Kalinec Vinklarek.
Paul was a farmer and owner of Paul's Auto Service. He married his adoring wife of 66 years, Anita Jurek Vinklarek in September 1941.
Paul's family also includes his daughters, Paulette Vinklarek Roe and husband Lonnie of Pearland, Mitzi Vinklarek Shields and husband Steve of Houston Heights; grandchildren, Darlene Roe Watson (deceased in 2000), Russell Kubecka and wife Zellke of Dayton, Chris Paul Roe of Pearland, Shawna Marie Blanton of Spring, Scott Shields of Germany, Brian Shields and Denise Shields, both of Kansas; sisters, Pauline Paul of Houston and Helen Adcock of Yoakum; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. today at Triska Funeral Home. A parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church with the Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Philip Church or to Hospice Support Care.
