We mourn the loss of Tracie Alyn Witkop of Pooler, Georgia who passed away on January 12, 2016 after an automobile accident in Effingham, Georgia.

Tracie is survived by her adoring husband Robert Witkop of Pooler, Georgia; mother and step-father Nancy and Thomas Cunningham of Arlington, Texas; Father James Abbott of Lawton, Oklahoma and step-mother Carolyn Jones Bair of Atlanta, Georgia; two brothers, Jeremy Matherly of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Bryan Matherly of Topeka, Kansas.

Tracie was born September 13, 1982 in Newton, Kansas. She was a Navy Veteran and was a Army wife to Robert Witkop (active duty Army). Tracie and Robert were married with closest friends in Savannah, Georgia on January 13, 2013 and renewed their vows in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 2, 2013 with family members that could celebrate the family union.

Tracie was passionate about playing and competing in Billiards; she competed in tournaments and has trophies of her excellent skills at the Billiard Tables; as well as being loved, respected with her team mates and her competition. The Billiard community in and around the State of Georgia that experienced this passion in Tracie at the tables are deeply saddened by her passing and have a memorial to gather in Savannah, Georgia.

Services for Tracie Alyn Abbott will be at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion, Kansas, January 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Tracie will be laid to rest in Lincolnville, Kansas. Tracie will be memorialized by her husband and parents, and her Grandfather Allen A. Abbott, Uncle Glenn (Lisa) Abbott; Aunt Kym (Troy) Thompson; Aunt Michele Abbott; Grandfather George Matherly; Uncle Tommy (Cathy)Matherly; Uncle Ronnie (Beverly)Matherly; Uncle Randy (Lacy) Korgol; Uncle Ted(Becky)Korgol; Leasa (Tommy)Tilley; Michelle (Ronnie) Pope.

Tracie Alyn Abbott-33 years old will remain in our hearts and prayers until we join her one day with those that preceded her in death; Grandmothers – Judy Ann Abbott; Grandmother Glenda Sue Korgol.
