Mrs. Annie Minerva Hartzfeld, Grampian R.D., died Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at her home. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. tonight and until time of funeral services Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Russell H. Lininger Funeral Home in Curwensville. The Rev. Clinton E. Chu will officiate. Interment follows in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Hartzfeld was born in Penn Twp. Dec. 31, 1895, daughter of William and Hannah Cleaver Pentz. She was married to Ai Hartzfeld for 57 years. She was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Luthersburg for 60 years. Surviving are a son, Martin Hartzfeld, Grampian R.D.; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Alta) Phillips, Markleysburg, Pa.; a granddaughter, Leslie Phillips; three grandsons, Brett, Dennis and Jeffrey Phillips; three brothers, Charles Pentz, Leonard Pentz, Ellsworth Pentz, all of Grampian R.D.; two sisters, Mrs. George (Jane) Charles, Mrs. Charles (Hazel) Curry, of Grampian R.D. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Barbara Phillips, a brother and three sisters.
