Charleen R. Petrella, 76, of Springfield, died at 6:29 p.m., Friday, Jan.15, 2106, at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born July 2, 1939, in Pana, Ill., to Charles and Alice (Anders) Gent. She married Donald R. Petrella on Oct. 14, 1967, and he survives.
surviving are three daughters: Theresa , Angela and Maryalice; granddaughter, Renee ; one brother, James , nieces, nephews, cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Charleen was a resident of Springfield most of her life. She was a member of St. Cabrini Church, a member of the Altar Society, Luthuanian Club and Wayne Newton Fan Club. She retired as a secretary from Franklin Life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Burial will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery at a later date.
