BIDDEFORD - Rose A Boucher, 89, formerly of 9 Graham Street, died at Kennebec Valley Medical Center, Augusta, Sunday morning after a long illness. She was born September 6, 1900 in Scott Junction, Quebec, a daughter of Joseph and Georgiana Laverdiere Brochu. She was in her early 20s when they moved to the United States. Mrs Boucher was employed at the Pepperell Manufacturing Company for 40 years. She was a member of the York County Barracks Auxiliary. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Biddeford. After she became ill, she and her husband, Louis A Boucher, resided in Westbrook with her nephew and niece, Paul and Francine Brochu. Later they moved to the Maine Veteran's Home in Augusta. She remained a resident there after her husband's death in 1986. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
