Fannie Langley Hallock was born 4 June 1856. She was not concerned with her birth year; as shown by the many different dates given in census and other documents. Her mother was Charlotte Augusta Thayer and father was Asa Langley (pioneer of Battlecreek,MI). Her mother was born in NY and father born in KY. They met at Battlecreek. She had great courage and conviction about how a Christian Lady should live. She is descended from Rev. War Patriots, Mayflower pilgrims, Robert de Bruce King of Scotland, and many other royal families. She was a wonderful mother. Other children not listed below: Eva Mae Hallock Cassels born 1879-?
