On July 31st, 1862, of Typhoid Pneumonia, MOSELEY BAKER, youngest son of Hawce Baker, the nephew of the late Gen. Moseley Baker, aged 21 years.
Having joined Capt. Davis' Company, Carter's Brigade, he obtained a furlough to visit his parents before leaving for the seat of war-got as far as Tarkington's Prairie-was taken sick-and died before reaching home.
