Sharon Gayle Anderson Hanke, 70, of 215 Clematis Court, died Friday, March 6, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born October 25, 1938, in Eau Claire, WI, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Winnifred Mickelson Anderson. She was retired after many years in retail sales and a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Surviving is her husband, John E. Hanke; a daughter, Suzanne Marie Johnson of Waterloo, SC; two sons, Chris Hanke and his wife Tonya, and Michael Hanke and his wife Leigh, all of Spartanburg; three grandchildren, Jamie Johnson, Anderson Hanke, and Abigail Hanke; three sisters, Judy Anderson and her husband Kurt of Eau Claire, WI, Lynn Bryant and her husband Dan of Maple Plain, MN, and Jean Arwood and her husband Jim of Phoenix, AZ; a brother, Chris Anderson and his wife Vicki of Eau Claire, WI.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. Charlie Short. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 775 Spartan Boulevard, Suite 101, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
