Clarence Raymond Cheetham died Thursday morning of a heart attack. He was born in Altoona, Kansas, 70 years ago, had come to California about 50 years ago and lived in this community 18 years. His trade was a carpenter from which he had retired for five years.
He had been a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local No. 1040 and also Masonic Lodge F. & A. M., Altoona, Kansas.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Cheetham, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Elaine Adams, Richmond, and a half-brother, Arthur Cheetham, Altoona, Kansas.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Pierce Mortuary with the Rev. Lester F. Eisel officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
