Joseph A. Larson, 83, a prominent Mazeppa area farmer, died Friday, December 1, at his home.
He was born December 14, 1883, in the Mazeppa area where he resided all of his life. He married the former Clara Rucker on March 21, 1911, and she preceded him in death.
Surviving is one son, Roger of Mazeppa; one daughter, Mrs. Dewey (Lorraine) Ewald of Minneapolis; one sister, Mrs. Fred (Annie) Grossbach of Mazeppa; and four grandchildren.
Two brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, 2 p.m., at the Oronoco Presbyterian Church, of which he was a member. The Rev. W. Noel Brown officiated. Interment was in the Mazeppa Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Quentin Rucker, Kenneth Rucker, Wilford Ryan, Norbert Grossbach, Vernie Grossbach and Glenn Grossbach.
