Leanord Leon Bowling , Galena , Mo. son of Geroge and Ida Bowling , was born April 22 19111 in Stone County , Mo. and departed this life Monday, Dec, 26 1994 in Springfield Community Hospital at the age 83 years , eight months and four days . Leonard had been a life long resident of the area . He was a farmer, and a member of the Cave Springs Church of Elsey , Mo. ; Survivors include two sons Harold, of Kansas City , Mo. and Danny Bowling , of Springfield , Mo, ; one daughter Alice Pulliam , Galena Mo. one brother Earl of California ; one sister Emma Stephens, Galena , Mo. ;Four grandchildren , eight great grand children and a host of friends and relatives . Services were at 10 am Thursday Dec. 29 in Cave Springs Church , Elsey Mo. with Sister Geneva Thornton officiating . Burial was in Crane Community Cemetery under the direction of Manlove - Stumpff Funeral Home of Carne , Mo.
