Mrs Nancy A Spade, 77 years old, formerly of this city, died this morning at 2:00 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs I P Flippen, at Monterey, Va.
The body was brought here by motor this afternoon and will lie at the home of her son, W L Spade, on Pleasant street. Definite funeral arrangements have not been made, but it is thought services will probably be held Sunday.
Mrs Spade was a resident of Hinton for more than 50 years. She had for the past three years resided with her daughter. She was a native of Monroe county, and was a member of the Methodist church.
In addition to Mrs Flippen and W L Spade of this city, she is survived by two others sons: B A Spade of Mullens and M A Spade, also of Hinton.
