William B. Culp, fifty-eight, Purples Lane, Columbia R1, died at 9.20 pm. Monday at the Columbia Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late John H. and Nina J. Bricker Culp, and was employed by the Pennsylvania Highways Department. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Columbia; Chickies Rock Lodge 307, Loyal Order of Moose, Columbia; American Legion Post 372, Columbia: Protective Home Circle, the AM VETS Post 153, Columbia; and was a social member of Susquehanna Aerie 293, Foresters of America.
A veteran of World War II, he served with Headquarters Company, Second Battalion, Third Armored Regiment, U. S. Army.
He and his wife, the former Emma M. Fackler, observed their 40th wedding anniversary last Sunday.
In addition to his wife, surviving are three sons: John, Columbia R1; Raymond C., Windsor R1; and Amos M., Columbia. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and a sister and two brothers: Mrs. Nina Seaman, Marietta; Filbert Culp, Lancaster, and John H. Culp Jr., Columbia.

CULP—Entered into rest in Columbia on June 25, 1962, William B. Culp, husband of Emma M. Fackler Culp, Columbia R1, in his 59th year. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 519 Walnut St., Columbia, Friday, 2 PM. The Rev. H. James Meyers officiating. Interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kraft Funeral Home, Thursday evening.
