JOHNSTON , Jon L. On October 12, 2010, Jon L. Johnston , of Perry Hall, MD, lost his courageous battle with lung cancer. He was the beloved husband of Judith Johnston (nee Cooke); also survived by his sons, Eric Johnston and wife Diane of York, PA, Chris Johnston and wife Suzanne of Sinking Spring, PA, Alec Johnston and wife Ann of Cumming, GA; devoted brother of Ed Johnston and wife Betty, Doris Russell and husband Ed, Sharon Johnston, Frances Pennell and husband Andrew; also survived by mother-in-law, Eva Cooke, brother-in-law, Harry Cooke and wife Robin, many nieces and nephews, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by his beloved son, Kurt L. Johnston in 2004.
