This was a Shock & Sadly a good friend Mary Jane Cardwell, passed away after a short illness.
Married to Eddie J. Wheeler Sr., on September 3, 1988 (but she kept her name Cardwell) , she was an Attorney At Law on Tebeau Street in Ware County , she had a lot of friends who knew her very well ... Her illness just came about and she would tell us about it and each step that would be next for her and we all had kept her in out prayers....
Mary Jane will truly be missed.... we were told late Wednesday nite that she had passed ..... ARRANGEMENTS HAVE NOT BEEN MADE YET AS OF THURSDAY MORNING (NOW 7 am )....

Mary Jane spends time with her husband, her church and various charitable and craft activities. She has contributed Teddy Bears and afghans to the Victory Junction Gang Camp. She enjoys attending races (old cars)that her husband and her love to take to shows and seems like she always WINS and she loves spending time with her animals and can COOK up a storm ....
Mary Jane began the practice of law in Waycross, Ga. in June of 1987; after graduating from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Ga., she received three degrees from Mercer University, having completed her B.A. in 1977 and her M.Ed. in 1980 prior to her completion of her J.D. in 1987..... She worked with the law firm of Kopp, Peavy and Conner, P.C. where she practiced until 1993 then she went with Robert Little's office until 1996, then on May 1, 1996 Mary Jane opened her own office, primarily serving in three areas of Bankruptcy practice - attorney for Debtors in Chapter 13, some creditor work in Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 Panel Trustee for the Southern District Georgia, Waycross Division... A member of the Waycross Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia, American Bankruptcy Institute, National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees and National Association of Charter 13 Trustees plus a lot more ........
Miles - Odum Funeral Home Friday night from 6 to 8 , the family will visit with all Mary Janes' friends and Family ..
then on Saturday at 11 am at the Miles - Odum Chapel will be the funeral for Mary Jane and burial will be at Oakland Cemetery .....
