REDKEY--Ruth E. Addington, 76, 211 W. Main St., died Friday in Jay County Hospital in Portland.
Mrs. Addington was a lifelong resident of the Redkey area. She worked for veterinarian Max Peters. She was a member of Redkey Church of the Nazarene, Jay County Hospital Auxiliary and Priscilla Club of Redkey
Survivors include a son, Robert L. Addington; three special friends, Lula Miller, Terry Miller, and Audrey Kesler, and five grandchildren.
Her husband, Floyd Rogers Addington, died in 1980. A son is also deceased.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at MJS Mortuaries Redkey Chapel. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Calling will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
