She was born March 27, 1913, in Kearney County north of Axtell to John and Mary (Reinart) Schneider.
On July 18, 1937, she married William Cronin in North Platte. He died in 1973.
Survivors include her daughters, Marcia Krueger of Minden, Catherine Davis of Littleton, Colo., and Patricia Withers of Keller, Texas; sisters, Seraphia Schneider of Dubuque, Iowa, and Colette Erickson of Holdrege; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Additional survivors include sons-in-law, DuWayne Krueger of Minden, Walter Withers of Keller and Lee Rinehart of Las Vegas.
She attended country school until the eighth grade. She then was a housekeeper for priests in Holdrege and McCook.
She and her husband lived in Minden. They moved to Holdrege in 1972. She moved to Bethany Home in 1997.
She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Holdrege while she lived there and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Minden. The church was a very important part of her life. She was a meticulous homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, music and playing cards and her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Anne Rinehart; son, William John Cronin; four brothers; and two sisters.
