Charles Alfred Davidson, 71, of Walnut died on March 9, 2005 at his home. He was a retired truck driver. He was born on May 4, 1933 in Freedom, Oklahoma, a son of Alfred Alexander and Viola Nellie (Bliss) Davidson. On May 13, 1958, he married Gloria Jean Dennis in Noel, Missouri. He was preceded in death by an infant sister; and his sons, Darrell Wayne Davidson and Raymond Eugene Davidson. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; his sons, Richard Earl Davidson of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Charles Alfred Davidson, Jr. of Girard, John Allen Davidson of Walnut, and Lyle Davidson of Erie; his daughters, Charlene Kirkpatrick of Walnut, Linda Myers of St. Paul, and April "Penny" Cothern of Neodesha; his brother, Marvin Lewis Davidson of Ninnekah, Oklahoma; his sister, Jennie Marie Gee of Gladewater, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Following cremation, graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Glenwood Cemetery near Walnut with Rev. Pam Eury officiating.
